My stay at Ocean Paradise Resort during the Chinese New Year was both nice and relaxing, thanks to its amazing ocean views and spacious accommodations. While the secluded location was peaceful, it may not suit those wanting easy access to local attractions without a car. Overall, I enjoyed the unique charm and friendly vibe that made this place special.
The VIP room I stayed in was spacious, equipped with a huge king size bed and stunning decor. The bathroom offered an open view of the ocean, complete with a jacuzzi tub and a rainforest shower head - simply lovely! However, it's worth noting that there is no elevator access, so those with mobility issues may find it challenging to navigate the upper floors.
The host was genuinely friendly and helpful, offering plenty of tips about local sights. The kitchen staff also went above and beyond to accommodate our breakfast requests, which was greatly appreciated. There were even some adorable dachshunds that added a fun touch to the overall welcoming atmosphere.
The resort is perched on a hillside, providing a serene backdrop. It's about a 10-minute drive to the nearest beach and around 20 minutes to Hengchun for dining options. However, being somewhat isolated means you'll need your own transport to explore the area easily.
Breakfast was a feast! We enjoyed a great mix of Chinese and Western meals, including freshly made waffles and delicious pastries that I still think about. Overall, while the meals were well-prepared, some selections were a tad unmemorable compared to the very nice setting.
The facilities were adequate, with room service available, though the standout feature was definitely the rooftop access from our VIP room. The location had a charming sunflower field, though it wasn't in bloom during my visit. Still, the environment felt cozy and homely.

I found Ocean Paradise to be a tranquil getaway with stunning views reminiscent of Santorini, but it fell short on some execution details. While the room was spacious and comfortable, I encountered issues with cleanliness and hot water. The secluded location is nice, but it requires a drive to reach the nearest town, which could be inconvenient for some guests.
My VIP room was spacious and came with a fantastic jacuzzi, but I noticed some cleanliness issues in the tub and encountered lukewarm water during my stay.
The staff was friendly, but I didn't have much interaction with them, leaving me wanting more from the service experience.
The resort is located on a hill with amazing views of the ocean, but it's about a 20-minute drive from Kenting, which may not suit everyone.
Breakfast and afternoon tea were included, but the food was basic and didn't stand out as nice during my stay.
The resort had a nice rooftop and dachshunds roaming around, but I found the lack of recreational options after dark to be a real downside.

My stay at Ocean Paradise Resort was nothing short of magical. The views of both the sunrise and sunset were amazing, and my room was spacious and impeccably clean. The breakfast was delicious, featuring tasty pastries and porridge, though the bathroom setup might not be ideal for friends sharing a room. The location, while secluded and serene, was a bit challenging to access on narrow roads, but the overall experience far outweighed any minor drawbacks.
I found my room to be incredibly large and comfortable, equipped with all the lovely touches like a bath and balcony overlooking the sea. The indoor Jacuzzi in the VIP room was a highlight, providing an amazing ocean view.
The service was warm and inviting. The staff went above and beyond by accommodating my requests and even brought a dachshund out for me to play with during checkout. They were also helpful in providing local tips for exploring.
The resort's secluded location offered great exclusivity and tranquility, but the narrow roads navigating to and from the nearby town of Kenting can be a bit challenging, requiring a 20-minute drive.
Breakfast featured a nice selection, with delicious porridge and fresh pastries, though the options for lunch and dinner nearby were limited. The afternoon tea snacks were a lovely addition that kept us refreshed.
The resort is beautifully maintained with exquisite decor and comfy spaces for relaxation-like the plush bears in the reception area. The availability of room service and attention to small details added to the overall experience.

Ocean Paradise Resort truly lives up to its name with amazing views and a peaceful environment. However, there were a few cleanliness issues that detracted from the overall experience. The hospitality from the staff was warm and inviting, but some amenities could use improvement for the price point.
I stayed in both a standard and VIP room, with the VIP room featuring a fantastic indoor Jacuzzi and a rooftop view. The decor was well thought out, though I did notice some cleanliness concerns.
The staff was friendly and accommodating, going above and beyond, especially when I needed assistance arranging a surprise for my girlfriend. Their warmth added a personal touch to my stay.
Secluded and peaceful, located away from the hustle and bustle of the town. A perfect retreat, but a bit inconvenient for non-drivers as transport options may need to be arranged.
Breakfast was included and while it was competently prepared, it fell short of being nice. However, the afternoon tea snacks were a nice touch for relaxing at the resort.
The amenities included a lovely jacuzzi and a rooftop that offered panoramic views. but some details like cleanliness in the bathroom and outdoor furniture need attention.

I had a mixed experience at Ocean Paradise Resort. The location was lovely, offering amazing ocean views and privacy, but several aspects of my stay fell short of expectations. While the room was spacious and the bed comfortable, I encountered issues with cleanliness and hot water. Overall, it's a charming place but may not justify the price compared to other local accommodations.
My VIP room was spacious with a comfortable king-sized bed, but the jacuzzi was dirty and the hot water was only lukewarm. The decor felt a bit sterile, and the large windows provided a great view but raised privacy concerns.
The staff were friendly and accommodating, but we didn't interact with them much. Breakfast was included, and while it was satisfactory, it didn't stand out.
The resort's location was secluded and offered stunning views of the ocean, making it a peaceful retreat. However, it was a bit off the main road, which might not be convenient for everyone.
Breakfast was included and consisted of standard options which were well-prepared but not nice. Afternoon tea with homemade pastries was a highlight.
The facilities included a jacuzzi, a spacious room layout, and a rooftop area, though the outdoor furniture was in need of maintenance. There weren't many recreational options available after dark.
